You can create services with multi-level categories, providing a structured view for easy organization. The Service Module uses the latest design and technology for convenience. You can navigate and adjust the service map with your mouse, zoom in and out, and recenter the map by clicking the button next to the zoom control.

To create a category:

  1. Click the "+" icon next to Categories in the middle of the screen.
  2. Enter the category name.
  3. Click the Save icon to add your first category.


To add a subcategory to an existing category:

  1. Click the "+" icon next to the desired category.
  2. Select the "Category" option when prompted.
  3. Enter the name of the subcategory.
  4. Save your changes.


To add a service to a subcategory or category:

  1. Click the "+" icon next to the desired subcategory or category.
  2. Select the "Service" option.
  3. Enter the service details.


A new window will appear to allow you to add a service.



You need to check all four tabs and fill in information according to your service:

  1. Service Details
  2. Staff
  3. Timesheet
  4. Extras

Start by filling in the primary information in the Service Details tab:

  • Service Image: Add an image for the service. This will be visible to your customers during the front-end booking process.
  • Name: Enter a name for the service in the Service Name field.
  • Category: The category will be inherited automatically, but you can change it if needed.
  • Price: Enter the service price (e.g., 50.00). The currency is set in the settings, so it is not needed here.
  • Duration: Specify the service duration. The options will appear based on the time slot length defined in your General Settings (e.g., if you chose a 10-minute slot length, options will appear in 10-minute intervals: 10m, 20m, 30m, etc.).
  • Buffer Time Before: Set additional time needed before starting the service. The interval will match the time slot length.
  • Buffer Time After: Set additional time needed after finishing the service.
  • Recurring: Activate this option if you want to add recurring services.

What is a Recurring Service? Some services start and end at a specific time, such as a single appointment with an eye doctor. This type of service is non-recurring. However, other services require multiple appointments over a period, like a ten-day treatment plan from an eye doctor, which is a recurring service.

If you activate the recurring option, additional settings will appear. If your service is not recurring, you can ignore this section.




Repeat: You must specify how often the customer will use the service. There are three options:

  1. Monthly
  2. Weekly
  3. Daily

Monthly Recurring Service

Choose the Monthly option if your service is repeated on specific days of the month. Customers can select days of the month or specific days, such as the first Sunday, the last Wednesday, or the third Friday of every month.


Weekly Recurring Service

You can select this option if your service is repeated on certain days of the week. For example, it can occur every week on the 1st, 3rd, or 5th day.


Daily Recurring Service

Choose the Daily option if your service is repeated daily or every 7th day.


Fixed Full Period

By selecting this option, you can limit the total duration of the recurring services. For instance, if the treatment lasts ten days, check this option and enter ten days. You can also specify options for months, weeks, and times. If this option is not activated, the customer will decide how long the service will last when booking.


Fixed Frequency

This option allows you to set the repetition frequency. For example, if you add a Monthly recurring service and activate this option with five days in a month, your customer will select five days in a month when booking. Similarly, for a weekly recurring service, if you set it to three days a week at Fixed Frequency, customers can select only three days of the week when booking. Turning off this option means there are no limits for customers.


Payment

This option determines how your recurring services will be paid for during booking. There are two choices:

  1. Customers should pay only for the first appointment.
  2. Customers must pay for all appointments in the series.

Select the first option if you only need payment for the initial appointment. Choose the second option if customers must pay for all appointments at once when making a recurring appointment.


Capacity

This option sets whether customers will subscribe to the service individually or as a group. Select the Alone option if they need to book individually. Otherwise, choose the Group option and define the maximum number of customers who can attend.


Note

Enter a brief description of the service. This information will be visible to the customer during the front-end booking process.


Staff Tab

  1. In the STAFF tab, you can add employees who work on the service. 
  2. Click the "Add Staff" button to add a new employee to the service.
  3. If the service has a specific price for the employee, check the "Specific Price" box and enter the special price.


Setting Up a Timesheet for Your Service

In the TIMESHEET tab, you can customize the timesheet for your service. The timesheet configured in Settings > Business Hours will be displayed on the front end by default. If your service requires a specific timesheet, follow these steps:

  1. Activate Specific Timesheet: Check the "Configure specific timesheet" box.
  2. Define Timesheet: Set the available times and dates for the service as needed.

This allows you to tailor the service schedule independently of the general business hours.



Configuring Special Days for Your Service

If your service requires a different schedule on certain days, you can manage this in the SPECIAL DAYS submenu. Here’s how:

  1. Add Special Day: Click the "Add Special Day" button.
  2. Select Date and Time: Choose the date and specify the start and end hours.

For example, if a day is usually a non-working day for the business but this service needs to accept appointments, you can add that day and set the working hours. Conversely, if it's a regular working day but the service should not accept appointments, add the date but do not select any time intervals. This will mark the day as busy.


Adding Extras for Your Service

In the EXTRAS tab, you can enhance your service by adding additional items. Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Add Extra Item: Enter the name and price of the extra item. You can also upload an image for the extra service.
  2. Duration: If the extra service extends the appointment duration, specify the extra time. If it does not affect the duration, leave this field empty.
  3. Maximum Quantity: Define the maximum quantity available for the extra service.


Setting Specific Payment Methods

You can assign a specific payment method for your services. To do this:

  1. Navigate to Settings: Go to the SETTINGS section of the service.
  2. Choose Payment Method: Select the desired payment method for the service.

This feature is useful for distinguishing between services that require online payment and those that do not.





After completing all the content, you can click on the ADD SERVICE button and add the Service.
